NutraSelect SuperFlo Naturally Odor Controlled Garlic Granules from Nutra Products, Inc., are produced from a proprietary variety of mature, premium grade garlic bulbs, Allium sativum L., specially grown and hand selected for their nutraceutical marker content. Whole, fresh bulbs are separated into individual cloves, hand trimmed, hand peeled, washed and then gently dehydrated to preserve key actives using a proprietary process that virtually eliminates garlic odor. The product is then specially processed into a large, uniform free-flowing granule. This high bulk index granulation is highly free-flowing with superior compressibility. The result is a naturally odor controlled and super-clean creamy white granule with full allicin potential but with very low garlic odor, no specks, no defects and a guaranteed Aerobic Plate Count of less than 10,000 per gram upon request. This is achieved naturally, without using irradiation or chemical treatment.
USAGE
Garlic has been consumed as a medicine since ancient Egyptian times. It has been extensively investigated both scientifically and clinically for its antibiotic, antiplatelet, and antihyperlipidemic activities. NutraSelectSuperFlo Naturally Odor Controlled Garlic Granules are ideally suited for nutritional supplements, especially for clear-coated capsules and tablets where an odor controlled and high quality product appearance is desired. SuperFlo granules are a large, uniform, highly free-flowing compressible particulate and are extremely well suited for high speed tableting with minimal dusting. One pound (0.45 kg) of dehydrated garlic is obtained from approximately 3 pounds (1.36 kg) of fresh prepared garlic.
